Wifirst's approach to product and equipment validation is collaborative and adapted to our specific business requirements. Our primary goal is to ensure that solutions are seamlessly and effectively integrated into our customers' environments, while upholding the highest standards of quality and dependability.

A pragmatic and structured approach

Wifirst selects products for validation based on their technical relevance and alignment with identified field needs. We anticipate future requirements for products like access points, switches, and routers by exploring the latest innovations. This approach allows us to offer valuable solutions while actively addressing customer needs.

A multi-stage validation process

The goal of the validation process is to guarantee that the equipment is interoperable with existing infrastructures and that the products can be used within the managed service logic. This is achieved through rigorous testing carried out by specialised teams. Here are the main stages:

1- Mimicking Client Environments

We recreate our customers' diverse infrastructure environments within our Paris laboratories. This allows us to ensure that our services are compatible with the access points, switches, and other network equipment.

2- Performance tests

In-depth testing campaigns are conducted on specific equipment, such as access points. These tests, which are carried out directly on our Paris terrace, measure aspects such as signal range (radio power) and maximum data rates. This testing is essential for optimising the cost/performance ratio, particularly in complex environments like the Olympia.

3- Integration and supervision

Our Engineering team then works on integrating the equipment into our supervision system. This ensures that, once in production, the product can be monitored effectively and that support is ready to intervene in the event of a malfunction.

4- Approval process

The operations team carries out field tests to assess the solution in real-world scenarios. Finally, they manage the integration of the solution into the customer's existing infrastructure.

Continuous improvement and feedback

Collaboration with manufacturers is key to our continuous improvement strategy at Wifirst. By regularly reporting bugs and suggesting improvements, we can optimize our audit methods and equipment configurations.

In some cases, failures enable us to improve our processes and strengthen our ability to take on new challenges.

A customer-focused approach

Wifirst's strategy prioritizes the integration and validation of products to quickly deliver innovative and suitable solutions in response to customer needs and expectations.

Delivering an optimal user experience and simplifying IT for our customers through quality equipment and services is our steadfast objective. Product integration is central to this mission; therefore, the validation process is essential to ensure all products are reliable and meet our high-quality standards.
