Since 2011, Wifirst has had its own core network (which is quite unique for a professional WiFi operator), giving it end-to-end control of all its customers' flows and guaranteeing a high quality of service thanks to peering agreements with most content providers (Google, Facebook, Netflix, Amazon, Apple, Twitch, Akamai, etc.).
All data flows are collected from customer sites in our 3 Paris datacenters (TH2, PA2 and ILD2)
Wifirst pro-actively sizes its peering and transit links to ensure perfect traffic flow.
Collection gates are in place on our core network with a multitude of operators to ensure optimum coverage of the territory.
Over 90% of traffic on the Wifirst network is carried via peering links (direct interconnections between Wifirst and the web giants). Peering offers reduced latency and an enhanced user experience.
