The Wifirst deployment factory
Wifirst relies on a precise and rigorous project methodology, based on experience acquired through the deployment of over 350,000 WiFi access points, 100,000 switches and 20,000 Internet links in France and abroad.

Technology selection
In the course of our many large-scale LAN/WiFi and WAN projects, we have always applied the same rigor to the deployment phase, as this directly conditions the operability of the service, and ultimately its quality and customer satisfaction. Wifirst's ability to carry out large-scale deployments is based on several key success factors.
A scalable structure to cover many countries
Wifirst has maintained unrivalled flexibility and agility, thanks to its responsive structure and unique specialization in the WiFi operator business. This enables us to adapt our approach to the specific context of each customer, whether deploying an independent establishment or a fleet of several thousand sites.
This structure is supported in particular by human resources:
- project management centralized around a team of qualified and experienced telecom project managers (a dedicated project manager is assigned to each new site)
- an in-house team of several dozen WiFi-architects to carry out detailed technical studies prior to deployment
- on-site installations carried out by a network of service providers trained and certified by our technical teams (over 400 partner integrator technicians).

Adapted tools and procedures to industrialize deployment
Wifirst's teams have the technical resources needed to easily orchestrate the various components inherent in a deployment project (interactions with the customer, organization of interventions, equipment management, etc.):
- A tailor-made project management tool, Wifirst Déploiement, to break down and track each stage of the project.
- Audin, a tool for carrying out pre-visits and WiFi coverage studies, developed to compensate for the shortcomings of existing tools and directly connected to our information system.
- A logistics platform to stock all the equipment required for deployment, sized to meet high volumes and precise deadlines.
The industrialization of our deployment processes and tools contributes directly to the success of our customers' projects, by optimizing the quality of installations and meeting deadlines, in a spirit of transparent communication.
A proven methodology for large-scale projects
Wifirst manages almost 1,500 simultaneous projects on a daily basis, enabling it to easily absorb high deployment rates for the most demanding projects in terms of number of sites. Our organization has enabled us to ensure successful deployments in record times and/or extreme conditions.
