An ultra-secure WiFi network for the armed forces
Wifirst provides Internet access for military personnel in France and abroad
Official operator for the French armed forces
For the past ten years, Wifirst has been working closely with the French Army, or more precisely with the Économat des Armées (service provider for the Ministry of the Armed Forces), to equip all accommodation units on defense bases with WiFi.
Participating in the implementation and success of the Plan Famille is an opportunity and a real honor for all Wifirst teams.
Our Wifirst Gateway product has been awarded the "Used by the French Armed Forces" label.

In France (ILOSCA)
ILOSCA stands for "Internet Loisir du Service du Commissariat des Armées". This system is the result of a public contract won by Wifirst, a specialist provider of connectivity solutions.
The aim of ILOSCA is to provide free, secure, high-quality WiFi access to all military personnel accommodated in living units located in mainland France. This service is part of a drive to improve the living conditions and well-being of armed forces personnel, by offering them the possibility of connecting easily to the Internet in their free time, whether for personal use, communications or digital leisure.
In theaters of external operations (ILOPEX)
ILOPEX stands for "Internet Loisir en Opérations Extérieures". This system refers to a public contract won by Wifirst, which has taken over management of this service from Airbus.
The main aim of ILOPEX is to ensure a reliable, secure and accessible Internet connection for French military personnel deployed on overseas operations, including in conflict zones or high-risk areas. By enabling them to keep in touch with their loved ones and access leisure content online, this service contributes to troop morale and force cohesion, while complying with stringent requirements in terms of cybersecurity and infrastructure resilience in sensitive environments.
