Nestled within a 21-hectare pine forest in Labenne-Océan, Landes, the Sylvamar village is a 5-star Yelloh! Village franchise offering guests a heated water park with slides, a spa, high-quality accommodations, and a wide range of services.
The background
In 2015, Sylvamar Campsite became one of the pioneering Yelloh! Village franchisees to rely on Wifirst for managing fibre optics and WiFi across all its locations.
The challenge
The particularity of this project is that the campsite management wished to offer free WiFi access for each pitch. During the peak season, the WiFi network is highly solicited: we recorded a peak of 1,182 simultaneous connections right from the start!
The result
The Sylvamar Campsite has achieved the highest WiFi rating in the entire Yelloh! Village network. To put it in perspective, the Sylvamar project includes 67 outdoor 802.11ac WiFi access points, 1.2 km of fibre optic infrastructure laid out within the campground, all accomplished in a mere two-week project duration with the dedication of four technicians.
