Located rue de Varenne, in the heart of Paris, the Musée Rodin is an emblematic place dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of Auguste Rodin's work. With over 700,000 visitors a year, it is one of France's most popular museums, and stands out for its exceptional architectural setting, notably the Hôtel de Biron and its sculpture garden. The museum wanted to offer high-quality WiFi connectivity to its visitors and staff, while respecting the site's heritage constraints.

One of the major challenges for the Rodin museum's IT department was to guarantee fluid, stable and secure connectivity in an environment with severe architectural constraints. The WiFi infrastructure had to cover the entire site, both inside the historic buildings and in the outdoor areas, particularly in the garden where visitors like to stroll while accessing enriched digital content.

During the audit, our WiFi experts studied all the factors that could influence network coverage and quality: materials, ceiling height in the Hôtel de Biron in particular, obstacles (in this case, the works of art!), user density and interference with other electronic equipment.
