In its 2019 makeover, Crowne Plaza Montpellier Corum aimed to reimagine and elevate the in-room TV experience, entrusting Wifirst with deploying a cutting-edge solution merging professional fibre optics, WiFi, IPTV, and Chromecast. The result? A total of 155 43-inch Samsung Smart TVs and 149 Chromecasts, ushering in a new era of delight for guests.

Private Room WiFi

Guests can replicate the comfort of home connectivity by effortlessly connecting to their room's private WiFi using the QR code displayed on the screen.

Chromecast

Wifirst's Chromecast solution, relying on cutting-edge Room Area Network technology, stands out as the only 100% secure option in the market. Guests can cast their favourite content from smartphones, enjoying the experience with peace of mind.

Adhering to the "as a service" philosophy, Wifirst monitors the usage of TV services and Chromecast, gaining insights into guest engagement. During peak seasons in July and August, up to 30 distinct Chromecasts are utilised daily, with popular streaming giants dominating the TOP 5 most-used applications. "Live TV" channels clock an impressive average of 77 hours consumed each month, emphasising the enduring importance of TV services in the hospitality sector.
